It is our conviction Yamaha fitted a rather odd oil filter element
We got a modification which looks smooth and smart. The filter element itself is hidden inside the carter. The central hex bolt to attach all is resized so even a modern and wider O-ring chain can be fitted. The modification set we offer is including two modern paper elements.
